    • What makes someone seem trustworthy at first glance? List at least five (5) qualities (appearance, tone, clothing, etc.). Your answer should be in the form of a bulleted list.

    • Now list five (5) things that could make that same person suddenly feel untrustworthy even if they haven't done anything yet. Your answer should be in the form of a bulleted list.

    • Read this prompt: "Imagine someone pulls into your driveway in a shiny, loud, unfamiliar car while you're home alone. They smile at you like they already know you." Write one sentence describing how you would react and one sentence explaining why you would react this way.

    • "Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?" is a story about a 15-year-old girl who loves music, independence, and attention. The most important event in the story starts when a stranger arrives in a gold car. Based on this, predict:

      • What genre the story might be

      • What you think will happen

      • What the car might symbolize
